Lua Essentials from CAVI

What is Lua Essentials?

This course is an in depth study of the Lua programming language.
Lua is a powerful and fast programming language that is easy to learn and use and to embed into your application. Lua is designed to be a lightweight embeddable scripting language. It is used for all sorts of applications, from games to web applications and image processing.
Upon completion, students will be confident in coding a project with the Lua programming language.


This course is scheduled to commence 15th February 2021.

How do you join classes?

The lectures will be broadcasted via Mumble and this is a change of platform from semester 1 2020. The Mumble collaboration application is available for download at this link: Download Mumble.
Once you have installed the Mumble application on your local PC/Mac, you will need to view the Mumble guide to join us.
The live lecture’s will be delivered on Wednesday afternoon at 1pm (EDT US) - (GMT-5). Please ensure you are in the group delivery room 15mins before the lecture begins.
Live lectures will be recorded and made available for you to download or listen to approximately one day after the live lecture has concluded. The lectures will be available for Download further down this page.


This course runs for approximately 16 weeks and costs $100 USD. Paypal information will be given to you upon acceptance of this course.
If you are experiencing financial hardship you can present evidence with your submission of hardship to our administration for consideration.
