The fundamentals of connecting computers to networks

Imagine building a computer then connecting it securely to a network. This exciting first step could lead to a rewarding IT career. Because a sure way to excel—no matter which area of IT you choose—is to learn the right computer fundamentals. IT Essentials covers this as well as shares the career skills needed for entry-level IT jobs. Plus, you’ll enjoy working with Cisco's Networking Academy’s advanced simulation tools and having multiple hands-on labs to really hone your troubleshooting skills and immediately practice what you learn! Also prepare for the CompTIA A+ Certification. No prerequisites or computer knowledge required.

Course Instructions and Guidelines

The lectures will be broadcasted via Zoom and you will need to register for a zoom account.

Once you have installed the Zoom on your local PC/Mac or phone, you will need to create an account, this account will be used for consultative sessions with the provided meeting ID when you enroll.
This is an archived course, lectures have been recorded already, consultation sessions are available weekly Friday at 1pm (AWST) – (GMT+8) of every week 1 through 12. Consultations are provided if you need assistance or guidance with any of the required labs that need to be completed or if you are experiencing issues.

This course runs for approximately 12 weeks and costs $100 USD. Paypal information will be given to you upon acceptance of this course. If you are experiencing financial hardship you can present evidence with your submission of hardship to our administration for consideration.
