Course Information

CAVI will be running a 1 lecture short course on Skype. The course will be screen reader independent. We will focus on using the Skype program as downloaded from Skype.com, without use of third party software such as Skype Talking.

If we have enough students to run the course, you can see when the course will run on the short course schedule page. Even if the course is not currently taking enrollments, you can purchase archives of the course which will allow you a guaranteed seat in the next run of the course. Course Content will include:

Downloading and installation
Options and settings
The main Skype window
Adding contacts
Sorting and filtering the Contact list
The conversation window
Interacting with messages, including checking history, clicking links and reading voicemails
